A little help

Good to know

What is an Aberdeen buttery?

An Aberdeen buttery is also known as a rowie. Our Rowies collection includes traditional Aberdeen rowies made in Aberdeen. Open each product for its pack size and current availability.

Which rowie pack should I choose?

Choose a pack of 4 or a larger quantity of 12, 20, 40 or 80 rowies, subject to availability. The larger quantities contain multiple packs: for example, 40 rowies means 10 packs of 4. Check the individual product title and quantity before adding it to your basket.

How should I store my rowies and other bakery products?

Storage and shelf life vary by product. Follow the storage instructions and use-by or best-before date on the packaging. Ask us about the exact product before ordering if you need it for a later date. Do not assume that all bakery items have the same shelf life.

Where can I find ingredients, allergens and dietary information?

Read the individual product information and always check the label supplied with your order, as recipes and manufacturing details can change. If an ingredient or allergen detail is missing, ask us before buying. Do not assume that every item in a collection or hamper has the same dietary suitability.
